Tony Marr, 64

Tony Marr, 64, of Yankton, S.D., died unexpectedly Nov. 13, 2014, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.

Memorial services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec.13, at Kingsway Christian Church in Yankton with Rev. Bob Mason officiating. Burial will be in the Yankton Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Tony was born Feb. 3, 1950, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Clarence and Annie (Sondrol) Marr. He grew up on a farm near Fort Calhoun.

He graduated from Fort Calhoun High School in 1968. Tony lived in Omaha and Fort Calhoun. He worked for Waldinger Corporation for 25 years as a sheet metal construction worker/journeyman and foreman in Omaha before moving to Yankton.

Tony is survived by his children: Andy, Brandon and Janice; three grandchildren: Jaden, Autumn and Annaliese; siblings: Jeanine Marr, Camilla Borgelt, Kenneth (Connie) Marr and Ward (Patty) Marr; 12 nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: John and Terry.

Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home in Yankton is in charge of arrangements.
