Mrs. A. A. Nixon

Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Arndt went to Omaha Sunday afternoon to see Mrs. A.A. Nixon who was critically ill at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. J.L. Beecroft. Monday morning Mr. and Mrs. Arndt received word that Mrs. Nixon had just passed away. The lady and her entire family are well known here as they frequently visited their daughter and sister, Mrs. C. Ray Gates, and family when they resided her a few years ago. One year ago last month Mr. Nixon died and his faithful wife and companion of many years was heart broken over his passing. This most excellent woman and devoted mother is survived by six children: Mrs. C. Ray Gates of Grand Island, Mrs. Cecil Beecroft, Harry, John, Bryan and Ross Nixon, all of Omaha, and all of whom were present in the closing hours of their mother’s life. There are many friends in this locality who are sympathizing with the children in this, their irreparable loss. Mr. and Mrs. Arndt went down Wednesday to attend the funeral.

Note: Since the actual death date was not given, the news article date was used.
