Robert (Bob) D. Noel, 57, a former resident of Blair, died Friday, March 27, 1987 at University Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

Services will be held Tuesday, March 31, at 2 p.m., at the Priester Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield, Iowa, conducted by the Rev. John Long. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or the Avenue of Flags in Bloomfield.

Visitation was held Monday and Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

He was born March 4, 1930, in Bloomfield to Henry Clay and Ruth Armstrong Noel.

He married Barbara Farwell on October 31, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Melissa of Omaha and Amy of Des Moines, two sons, Brent of Omaha and Robert M. of Des Moines, and one twin brother, Ben of Bloomfield.

He was a member of the Blair Methodist Church and the American Legion of Bloomfield.
