OTTO NOHRENBERG DIES

The community was very much shocked yesterday morning to learn of the death from heart failure of Otto Nohrenberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nohrenberg who lives three miles west of town.

Otto had been suffering for some time with asthma caused by heart trouble and some two weeks ago left for Colorado in hopes of benefiting his health. He at first thought he felt better, but his folks soon received word from him that he had decided to go to California in the hope of getting quicker relief. His father met him in Denver and accompanied him to Los Angeles, but it seems he didn’t improve as he had hoped to and one Monday of this he arrived home in company with his father. His condition was very poorly and early yesterday morning he passed away. Deceased was born in this county on the farm of his parents on February 20th, 1880, and was a steady young man with a promising future. He leaves besides his parents four brothers and numerous friends to morn his untimely departure.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at one o’clock at the farm home. Rev. Eckhardt of the German Lutheran church officiating. Interment will be in the Blair cemetery.

Note: Since the actual death date was not given, the news article date was used.
