DEATH OF FORMER BLAIR LADY OCCURS AT SCRIBNER

Mrs. George Nolan passed away at her home at Scribner, Nebr., at 4 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 1922.

Dora Foley was born near Blair about 45 years ago, was reared in Washington county and became one of its efficient teachers. She was married November 11, 1914, to George Nolan of Scribner and since that time had made her home there. Funeral services will be held at the Catholic church in Scribner at 8 a.m. Friday morning and the body will arrive in Blair later in the day for interment in the Catholic cemetery, Father Beyrsdorfer having charge of the services at the grave.

Surviving Mrs. Nolan is her husband, four brothers, Jerry, John, Mike and Robert, all living near Blair except John, who lives in Omaha, and three sisters, Mrs. Maggie McMahon, of Lincoln; Mrs. Mayme Daly, South Omaha; Mrs. Nellie Landis, Ft. Calhoun, to whom the sympathy of a large circle of friends is extended.

MRS. GEORGE NOLAN DIES

Word was received by relatives of the death of Mrs. George Nolan of Scribner, and funeral services will be held at Scribner Friday morning, and the funeral cortege will come by auto route to Blair, arriving here between eleven and eleven thirty in the morning, going directly to the Blair cemetery.

Mrs. Nolan will be better remembered to Washington county people as Miss Dora Foley who was reared on the John Foley homestead south of Blair. She taught school very successfully in this county for many years, and has a host of old friends and pupils who regret to learn of her death.
