Virginia L. "Gina" Niederluecke Thomsen, 80, of Blair, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, in Omaha.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair.

Gina was born June 5, 1934, to Walter and Catherine Niederluecke.

She worked for 30 years in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

She is survived by children: Holly (Myron) Peterson, Roger (Denise) White and Thomas (Linda) White; stepchildren: Dr. Kimberly Thomsen (Dave Schuessler) and Michele Doll (Tom Brooks); 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Catherine Niederluecke; brother Dr. Donald Niederluecke; and husband Paul Thomsen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
