Services Are On Friday For Ivan Norgard

Services will be Friday, October 27, at 11 a.m., for Ivan Norgard of Ft. Calhoun who died October 23 at Blair Hospital. He was 61 years old at the time of his death.

Services will be at Crosby-Kunold-Burket Farnam Chapel in Omaha. Dr. Paul M. deFreese will officiate. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Ivan Norgard was born June 4, 1917 in Omaha to Rasmus and Anna Nielsen Norgard. He married Sue Ferri Norgard and worked for Washington County in the garage.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; one son, Douglas John of Fort Calhoun; and one daughter, Mrs. Harney (Suzanne) Schutte of Fort Calhoun. Three sisters, Esther Hedinger of Harrisonville, Missouri, Margaret Christensen of Arlington, Virginia and Bette Orcutt of Windsor, Connecticut; three brothers, Harry Norgard of Kennard, Axel Norgard of Omaha and Richard Norgard of Omaha.

Arrangements for the services are being handled by Crosby-Kunold-Burket Funeral Chapels.
