Mrs. L.M. Norton died last Thursday of sarcoma tumor after an illness of many months. The funeral was conducted at the home at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon by Rev. Mr. Vincent, of Omaha, and interment made in Blair Cemetery.

Miss Theodocia Robinson was born near Peru, Ill., April 24, 1813, and was married to Mr. Norton, March 6, 1875, and this has been their home ever since.

Six children were born to them, two of whom, Harry and Mary, are now dead. Alva C. is a practicing physician at Rockwell City, Ia., and Clyde is a member of Co. C of the 15th regulars, now stationed at Monterey, Cal. Mrs. L.G. Tyler lives in Dunlap, Ia., and Miss Clara is at home.
