PETER NOVAK, 75, DIED AT HOSPITAL EARLY TUESDAY

Peter Novak, 75 year old area resident, died early Tuesday at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. He had lived in the county all of his life, having been born at Blair May 9th, 1897. He was never married.

He devoted his life to farming and worked as a farm hand for numerous farm operators of the Blair and Herman area. For the past three years he had lived at the Vern Tuttle farm home.

He is survived by one brother, Walter Novak, of Blair. A nephew, Ralph Novak, also survives as do several cousins.

Funeral services are being held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Bendorf Funeral Home in Blair. The services are being conducted by the Rev. Sanford Sorgen of the First Lutheran Church of Blair and burial, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home, is being made in the Blair cemetery.
