Services Are May 10th For Walter Novak

Services are being held Tuesday, May 10, 1977 for Walter J. Novak who died Saturday, May 7, in the Blair Hospital at the age of 81. Reverend Robert Albers and Reverend John Petersen will officiate at the services which will be held at First Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Walter J. Novak was born in Blair August 27, 1895. A farmer all of his life, he resided at 2243 Lincoln in Blair.

He is survived by one son, Ralph Novak, of Blair; three grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.

Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for the services.

Services For Walter Novak Held May 10th

Services were held Tuesday, May 10th for Walter Novak who died at the Blair Hospital Saturday, May 7th. He was 81 years old.

Mr. Novak was born in Blair August 27, 1895. He was engaged in farming all of his life until retirement when he moved to Blair to live at 2243 Lincoln Street in Blair, also enjoying gardening.

He was a World War I Veteran.

On October 15, 1924, he was married to Mary Knutsen.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, of Crowell Home, one son, Ralph, of Blair; three grand-children, Ronald, Gary and Jolene and two great-grandchildren, Crystal and Colleen.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Albers and the Rev. John Petersen conducting the services. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Howard E. Larsen, Andrew Hansen, Jr. Rolland Long, James Christensen, Mac Allen and Lloyd Nielsen.
