Services were Mon. Nov. 11 at the Nelson-Harris Funeral Home in Loomis, Nebr. for John Nyberg, 60 who died of a heart attack while driving in rural Loomis Nov. 8, 1996. Burial was in the Prairie Home Cemetery at Holdrege.

John Nyberg was born May 9, 1936 at Loomis. He graduated from the Loomis School District.

He was manager of the Coop Elevator at Loomis until having brain surgery 17 years ago. He had been confined to a wheel chair since that time.

He married Shirley Fryman June 19, 1960 at the Methodist Church in Blair.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff and Mae Nyberg and one brother.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons and daughter-in-law, Wade and Cori Nyberg, St. Paul, Nebr. and Brett Nyberg of Loomis; two grandchildren; four sisters and his mother-in-law, Olga Fryman.
