Funeral services for Orval E. Andreason, 77, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at the First United Methodist Church in Fremont. Rev. Joe Scahill will officiate. Burial will follow at the Kennard Cemetery.

Orval was born August 23, 1907 to Robert and Mary (Hansen) Andreason in Kennard. He married Wilma J. Cavender Jan. 15, 1933 in Lyons. She survives. Orval died Monday, Feb. 25, at Dodge County Memorial Hospital in Fremont.

Orval farmed, worked heavy construction and was a member of Fremont’s First United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Nebraska and American Quarterhorse Associations and the Fremont Saddle Club. He retired in 1976.

Orval lived in Blair until 1950, in Walthill until 1961, when the couple moved to Fremont.

Other survivors are sons Richard of Oakdale, California and Larry of Phoenix, Arizona and daughter Janet of Fremont; four grandchildren; sister Mrs. ----(missing info)
