Pearl Kaiser, 102

Services for Pearl Kaiser, 102, who died at Colonial Acres Feb. 4, 1997 were Friday, Feb. 7 at the Humbolt Christian Church, Humboldt, Nebr. Rev. Suzanne Swahn officiated. Burial was in the Humboldt Cemetery.

Pearl Irene Marshall, daughter of George and Luella Albaugh Marshall was born July 13, 1894 and spent her childhood on the family farm north of Humboldt. She attended rural school, Humboldt High School and York Business College at York, Nebr.

She was a life-long member of the Christian Church and its Christian Women’s Fellowship. She was also a 50-year member of the Phythian Sisters Lodge.

She married Walter C. Kaiser Aug. 9, 1914. They lived in Humboldt most of their married life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1965.

She is survived by her daughter, Bernice “Bee” Krantz of Blair; her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Milton and Mary Kaiser of Park Rapids, Minn.; her brother, Elton Marshall; four grandsons and their wives, Dr. Brent and Roseann Krantz, Fargo, ND; Dr. Robert and Pat Marshall of Willmar, Minn.; Ronald and Jenny Kaiser, Horace, ND and David and Darla Kaiser, Alexandria, Minn.; one granddaughter, Linda Kaiser Livers and her husband, John of Chaska, Minn.; eight great-granddaughters, Kirsten Krantz, Karin Krantz, Kerry Krantz, Katie Kaiser, Kristina Kaiser, Anna Kaiser, Melissa Kaiser, Stephanie Kaiser; five great-grandsons, Jeremy Kaiser, Jeff Kaiser, Greg Kaiser, Matthew Livers, Phillip Livers; two step-grandchildren, Sharon Campbell and James Campbell; one great-great granddaughter, Macena Kaiser; two nephews, Lawrence Marshall and his wife, Wanda of Spencer, Iowa and Robert Marshall of Olathe, Kans. and one niece, Mrs. William Stalder of Borger, Tex.

Pallbearers were Raymond Bucher, Charles Hilgenfeld, Robert Marshall, John Mullen, Jack Schock, Craig Swahn, Jack Cooper, Larry Marshall, Earl Miner, Robert Macholan and John Stalder.

Karen Krofta was organist. A men’s Quartet provided the vocal music.

Wherry Brothers Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
