Lillie A. Kalin, 64

Funeral services for Lillie Kalin, 64, of Fort Calhoun, were held Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery. Mrs. Kalin died Sunday, July 4, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Lillie A. Kalin was born April 29, 1940, in Herman to Jens and Johanne (Christensen) Larsen. She attended Hill Creek School and graduated from Herman High School in 1958.

On Oct. 27, 1959, she married William Kalin at Hartington. They moved to the Fort Calhoun area in 1972.

Mrs. Kalin worked for AT&T, prior to her employment with Lozier Corporation. After her retirement from Lozier in January 2003, she joined the Woodhouse family.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and had a love for birds.

She is survived by her husband, William; sons and daughters-in-law, William Jr. and Dawn Kalin of Blair, DeWayne and Nicole Kalin of Canadian, Okla., Joey Kalin of Lincoln; four grandchildren; and a sister, Ellen Jones of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Cynthia and Jean; and a brother, Kund Larsen.
