Services for Ellen Anne Hawkins Kanaley, 771 of Fort Calhoun were Friday, October 28 at the Fort Calhoun Baptist Church. Burial was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Hawkins.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Catharine and Richard Tietz, Judith and William Boyd; daughter, Susan Newman; a son, W. Paul Hawkins and Brenda M. Wright; a son, William Kenaley; four sisters, Sarah Genoways and Hannah Genoways, Catherine Beales and Elizabeth Coffin; two brothers, Austin Beales and John Beales; 13 grandchildren and two great-grand-children.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun was in charge of arrangements.
