Private graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 26 at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont for Doris L. Karn, 80 of Fremont who died September 24, 1991 at Arbor Manor in Fremont. Rev. Norman Pavey is officiating.

There will be a closed casket viewing Thursday from 9-10 a.m. at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.

Doris L. Karn was born July 5, 1911 at Arlington to Louis and Augusta Brinkman Melvard. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1929 and attended one year of college returned to Fremont in 1982.

She married Ray C. Karn October 5, 1936 at Wahoo. He preceded her in death August 10, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Byron.

She is survived by a brother, Richard Melvard of Fremont and three sisters, Donna M. Svanda of Ravenna, Dorothy (Mrs. John) Sukstorf of Fremont and Evelyn (Mrs. Laroy) Williams of Cedar Bluffs.

Pallbearers will be Harley Spencer, Mitch Williams, Bob Svanda, Don Savanda, Mike Williams, Jim Williams and Dick Melvard.

Moser Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
