Hazel Ninegar, 101 of Blair died Sunday, April 6, 1997 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Ninegar was born Feb. 20, 1896 at Hasting, Nebr., to William and Della (McCulloch) Williams. She graduated from Hasting High School in 1913. On Nov. 7, 1914, she married Charles Ninegar at Lincoln, Nebr. She worked for the Bench Chemist Control Laboratory for 15 years and was foreman at the Beet Laboratory at Bayard, Nebr. She had lived in Hastings, Nebr.; Spencer, S.D.; and Bayard and Blair, Nebr. during her lifetime.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Fort Calhoun; Order of Eastern Star; American Legion Auxiliary and Woman’s Club.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Etlar Olsen, Blair; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Louis and Bethine Ninegar, Kearney, Nebr.; a daughter-in-law, Twilla Ninegar, Woodland Hills, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Roberta Ninegar Gooler; a son, Thomas Ninegar; her parents, husband and a twin sister, Helen Oberle.

Memorials may be given to the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church or the Good Shepherd Home Chapel.
