Victor D. Beavers Dies Monday Eve in Fremont

Victor D. Beavers, 64, of Fremont, died Monday evening at the Fremont Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 8, at the Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Paul Gronk officiating.

Beavers was born Oct. 22, 1911, at Oak, Neb. He had lived in Fremont since 1940. Previous to that time, he had lived in Superior.

He was a retired florist and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fremont and the Fremont Elk’s Lodge No. 514.

He was married Nov. 26, 1932, at Mankato, Kan. to Gladys Childers, who survives him. Also surviving him is: a daughter, Mrs. Delvin (Charlotte) Westermann of Arlington; a brother, Jack Beavers of Geneva, Neb.; four sisters. Mrs. Evelyn Harbolt of North Miami, Fla., Mrs. Willard (Nada) Springer of Superior, Neb., Mrs. Ed (Nira) Stonecypher of Lyman, Wyo., and Mrs. Myron (Betty) Elliott of Palmer Alaska; and two grandchildren.
