Services will be Wednesday, January 25 at Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home in Hastings for Frances Bradt Beck, 85 of Hastings, Nebraska who died at Villa Grace at the Good Samaritan Village in Hastings January 22, 1995 after a long illness. Graveside services will be in the Blair Cemetery at 3 p.m.

Frances Bradt Beck was born August 25, 1909 in Winner, North Dakota to Archie K. and Myrtle Petersen Bradt. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Hastings; Chapter G, P.E.O., George Elliott Book Club and First Presbyterian Church.

She had lived in the Hastings area, moving from Grand Island, for about 35 years.

She married Dr. V. Lome Beck in August, 1960.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Soren K. Jensen, in 1947 and Willis T. Spelts in 1955.

. She is survived by her husband, Dr. V. Lome Beck; two children, Soren S. “Sam” Jensen, Omaha and Linda Jensen Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio and five grandchildren, Soren Jensen of Washington, D.C.; Eric Jensen of Madison, Wisconsin; Dana Jensen of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mary Frances Smith Murphy of St. Petersburg, Florida and Reagan Smith of Chicago, Illinois.

Memorials may be directed to the Frances Beck Memorial Garden at Villa Grace at Good Samaritan Village in Hastings.
