Harry A. Drummond, 88

Harry A. Drummond, 88, a longtime resident of Blair, died Dec. 31, 2014, at his daughter’s home in Pinehurst, N.C.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Private burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Harry was born April 3, 1926, in Lyons to Earl and Jennie Drummond.

He grew up in Lyons and graduated from Lyons High School. He was employed with JEBCO for 45 years.

One of his greatest joys was playing the guitar, and he was the lead guitarist in a country western band.

He is survived by his children: Ray (Vicki) Drummond of Yuba City, Calif., Pamela (David) Vickers of Pinehurst, Steven Drummond of Marysville, Calif., and Dale (Marilyn) Drummond of Yuba City; sister LaVerne Knecht of Blair; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Drummond; brothers: Herald, Eldon and Donald; and sisters: Elaine Konecky and Ethel Gagini.
