Services Held for Mrs. Harry Beck

Services were held on Wednesday, June 14th, for Mrs. Harry (Mildred) Beck, age 70. Mrs. Beck died on June 12th at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Services were at 2 p.m. m the First Baptist Church in Blair. Rev. James Metzgar officiated with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Beck was born on October 29, 1907 to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Burger in Glenwood, Iowa. She was married to Harry Beck and they lived at 1619 Lafayette Street in Blair. Mrs. Beck had been a secretary.

Mrs. Beck is survived by her husband Harry and two children. They are Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Taylor of Fremont and Don Beck of Blair. There are seven grandchildren.

Surviving brothers and sisters are as follows: Mrs. Ross (Lea) Love, Blair; Reatha Rogers, Waterloo Iowa; Helen Kepler and Wilma Mellon, of Fort Dodge, Iowa; and Marshall Burger of Omaha.

Pallbearers were Gary Baker, John Christopher, William Lammers, Walter Petersen, Clyde Sappenfield and Keith Vinton.
