Mr. Albert A. Bedal

Albert A. Bedal, a son of Mrs. M. D. Bedal of this city, died in Omaha last Thursday of heart failure. While on his way home from witnessing the parade with his wife and child, he dropped to the sidewalk on Leavenworth near 20th Street and when his wife stooped to lift him up life was extinct.

Mr. Bedal had worked in a drug store at 700 30th Street in Omaha for a number of years.

He was well known in Blair, having grown to manhood here, and has a host of friends who extend the deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from Pierce’s Undertaking Rooms. Interment was made in Blair Cemetery, Rev. Cabeen conducting a short service at the grave.

Obituary #2

Albert, known here better as Bert A. Bedal, dropped dead from, heart failure Thursday afternoon as he was walking home, with his wife and little son from the parade in Omaha.

He had had a rather severe attack the evening before and didn’t feel able to go to the drug store, where he was working that day. In fact, he had been bothered a good deal for about two months but after the attacks he seemed to feel all right and thought there was no danger.

The funeral was held at the home, 700 South 30th Street, Saturday afternoon and the body was brought up here on the evening train and taken to Pierce’s Undertaking Rooms.

At 10 o’clock Sunday morning it was taken to the cemetery and interred in the family lot.

His mother, Mrs. M. D. Bedal, and brother, Eugene, and sisters, Mrs. Nellie Warner and Mrs. Lottie Evans were all in Omaha for the funeral and with the grief stricken wife came up here to see the body laid in its last resting place.
