Floyd Lester Andrews, 84, was born on July 21, 1904 at Randolph, Nebraska. He died at his home in Wayne, Nebraska on February 24, 1989. Funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church in Wayne on Wednesday, March 1st.

He was married to Ruth Eddie on February 14, 1923. She survives him and presently lives at the Wayne Care Center in Wayne.

He is also survived by a son Kermie and his wife Rayoma of Blair; a daughter Larraine and Bill Reed of Minneapolis.

Grandchildren are: Gary and his wife Janie of Marshall, Texas; Larry and wife Yvonne of Omaha; Terresa and Barbara Reed of Minneapolis. There are five great grandchildren. They are: Scott and Stacy of Marshall, Texas and Paul, Luke and Marie of Omaha.

One sister survives. She is Gladyce Beaudette of Wausa, Nebraska and several nieces and nephews. His parents and one sister preceded him in death.

He lived his boyhood days in the Page and Orchard area. His father, Acihillis Andrews, died when Floyd was 12 years old. He and his mother and sisters moved to the Carroll, Nebraska area after his marriage to Ruth in 1923. They farmed in the Randolph area until 1929 when they moved to a farm in the Carroll area where they resided until they moved to Wayne in 1951.

Mr. Andrews worked in sales at a Chevrolet dealership in Wayne until his retirement in 1969.
