Services were Saturday, March 4 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church for Raymond Joseph Kastl, Jr., 61 who died March 1, 1989 at Memorial Hospital in Fremont. Rev. Dan Galas officiated. Burial was in the Herman Cemetery.

Raymond Joseph Kastl, Jr., was born August 8, 1927 in Boise, Idaho to Raymond Maniel and Wilma Loew Kastl. He was a service technician for Burroughs Corporation and lived in Fremont. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.

He is survived by his mother, Wilma Kastl of Herman; a niece, Lisa Kelly; a nephew, Eric Christensen; a grand-nephew, Benjamin Patrick Kelly; and one sister, Mrs. Russell (Nona) Christensen of Baltimore, Maryland.

Pallbearers were Joe Cameron, Bill Hart, Raymond Christensen, Neil Lang, Frank Korshoj and Dick Sheets.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
