| John Wesley Andrews, known to Blair people as “Happy Jack,” died at the home of Mrs. Frank Allberry Tuesday, April 15, after an illness of two weeks duration.
Mr. Andrews was a native of Greenville, Illinois and came to Tekamah some thirty years ago where he worked for a number of years, coming to Blair about ten years ago. “Happy Jack” for all of his rough exterior was a gentleman at heart and among those who knew him was held in high esteem and has many friends here who respect him for his gentlemanly qualities.
The funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 16 and interment made in the Blair cemetery.
