Norma Kaufman

Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Kaufman lost their little daughter, Norma, aged eight months and nine days, Monday afternoon, after an illness of about two weeks. Dr. Stewart called Dr. McClanahan of Omaha, in consultation on the case but the weather has been so hot and such a complication of diseases set in that the best of human skill could avail nothing. Death came at about five o’clock in the afternoon and stole away the idol of the household. The funeral is to be held at the home at 2:00 this afternoon, Rev. A.G. Axtell officiating. The little body will be taken to Fremont on the afternoon train for interment by the side of its grandfather. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the sorrowing parents in this, their first great grief.
