Funeral services for Agnes L. Allen, 88, of Blair, were held Monday, March 22, 2004 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery. Mrs. Allen died Thursday, March 18, at Carter House in Blair.

Agnes L. (Hineline) Allen was born June 4, 1915, in Blair to Harry and Dolly (Green) Hineline.

On Dec. 8, 1936, she married J. Waine Allen in Pender.

Mrs. Allen was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Joan Hineline, and Herman Allen, all of Blair, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers and one sister.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church or the Blair Fire and Rescue Squad.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
