Obituary Record

Emma (Amrhein) Smith
Died on 12/30/1955
Buried in Fort Calhoun Cemetery

Note: Death date from tombstone and from memorial. There is some confusion, though: the tombstone shows 1873-1955, which means she died at age 82. However, one newspaper account says she was 85 years old—which would mean she was born in 1870. There was most likely a typo in the newspaper.
