MRS. H. E. SMITH FUNERAL SATURDAY

Mrs. Harry E. Smith passed away Wednesday evening, September 18th, at the Memorial Community Hospital.

Florence Mae Coulthard was born in Harrison County, Iowa July 10, 1887, and was married to Harry E. Smith on February 2, 1922. They were the parents of a son, who died as an infant.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith have lived in Blair for the past 26 years. Mrs. Smith is a member of the Blair Congregational Church and the Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband and a niece, Mrs. Frank Strout of Pasadena, California, who made her home with her aunt and uncle most of her life before her mattiage. Also surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Roy W. Owena of Omaha, Mrs. E.P. Farnsworth of Cresco, Iowa, and Mrs. Thalia M. Longman of Missouri Valley.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the First Congregational Church in Blair with the Rev. Clare Olney officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Valley, Iowa Cemetery. The Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Six nephews will serve as pallbearers.
