Virginia E. Keas, 68

Virginia E. Keas, 68, of Blair, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at her home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday.

Virginia Elaine Keas was born May 4, 1933, in Omaha to Clarence and Julia (McNichols) Wilson. She lived in the Omaha and Blair area all of her life. She worked at the nursing home in Papillion prior to moving to Blair in 1989. She worked in the dietary department of Crowell Home for six years.

On March 27, 1970, she married Richard Keas in Plattsmouth.

She is survived by her husband, Richard, five daughters, Sue Crook of Omaha, Judy Petterson of Ceresco, Sue Lovelett of Charlotte, N.C., Nancy Meyer of Herman, and Merri Ausherman of Blair; four sons, Rick Keas of Dodge City, Kan., Alfred Heisner of Saginaw, Texas, Bob Keas of Bullhead, Ariz., Joe Keas of Blair; 30 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, four sisters, Myrtle Heisner of Springfield, Lucille Golden of Blair, Juanita Pahkamaa of Blair, a brother, Raymond Robirds of Branson, Mo., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Patricia Magnet, and a brother, Joseph McKeever.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
