Services were held Wednesday, January 30 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home for B. H. Keeran, 72 who died January 27, 1991 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair after suffering a stroke a week earlier. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery with military honors.

B. H. Keeran was born November 27, 1918 in Jamestown, Missouri to Walter and Mary Keeran.

He was a heavy equipment contractor for many years in Blair. He served his country in World War II and was a member of the Veteran’s Association and American Legion.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and playing cards. He was active in bowling in Fremont, Nebraska until his stroke.

Survivors from his first marriage include his children, Connie Brady, San Clemente, California; Benjamin and Mary Jane Keenan, Jr., Farmington, New Mexico; grandchildren, Donald and William Keeran and Jason and Christina Brady; and three great-grandchildren.

He married Margaret King March 24, 1957.

Survivors from that marriage include three children, Donald and Lynne King, Omaha; Nina Smith, Cheyenne, Wyoming; Beth and Harley Petersen, Blair; grandchildren, Russell and Diane Petersen, Bradley Petersen, Mark, Christopher, Sandra and Matthew King and Boyd Smith and great-grandchildren Jacob and Sara Petersen and Kristen King.

He is also survived by three sisters, Ruth Stewart, Arizona; Ruby Brown, Alameda, California; and Donna Miller, Jefferson City, Missouri; a brother and sister-in-law, Pynell and Lucille Keeran, California, Missouri; many nieces and nephews and friends.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
