Karl Kehm, Jr., 63

Karl Kehm Jr., 63, died March 10, 1989 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.

Karl Kehm was born May 17, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska to Karl Kehn, Sr. and Lulu McGreer. He lived in the Omaha area all his life where he was a masonry contractor.

On May 26, 1975 he married Carol Trofholz in Omaha.

During World War II, he served in the Merchant Marines. He was a member of the Washington County Planning Board, Omaha Elk’s Club and the Ralston American Legion Club.

He belonged to the Masonry Contractors Association of Nebraska, Metro Omaha Builders Association and the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce.

He is survived by his wife, Carol of Blair; children and step-children, James Kehm, Omaha, Karen Taulborg, Omaha, Karl Kehm III, Blair, Kristen Campbell, Omaha, Matt Kehm, Blair, Suzi Crupi, Omaha, Dan Michaelsen, Bolivar, Tennessee, Cindy Dowdy, Lakewood, Colorado, Mark Michaelsen, Prudhoe, Bay, Alaska; two sisters, Kay Olender, Burbank, California, and Joan Bowles, Sunland, California; and 16 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert Kehm; and a stepson, David Michaelsen.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 15 at Country Bible Church in Blair. Rev. Dan Hauge will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Memorials may be directed to the Country Bible Church or the American Cancer Society.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
