Fred W. Kegler, Jr., 84, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, died June 20,1999, in Omaha.

A graveside service was Wednesday, June 23, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha. The Rev. Grant Story officiated.

Fred W. Kegler was born Nov, 2, 1914, in Blair. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post 331.

Married to Coila Kegler, he worked as a ticket agent for Greyhound Bus Lines.

He is survived by his sisters, Dorothy Snyder of Mesa, Ariz, Ruth Kegler of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jean Snyder of Carefree, Ariz.

Crosby Kunold Burket Swanson Golden Funeral Home in Omaha was in charge of arrangements.
