Funeral services for Freda Kegler, 99, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 21, at the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Rev. John Beck officiated. Burial followed at the Blair Cemetery.

Freda Kegler was born February 27, 1885 in Washington County to Ernest and Anna Turka Grossoehme. She died Friday, Jan. 18, at the Fremont Annex.

She is survived by five children, Fred Kegler of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Harry (Jean) Snyder of Fremont, George Kegler of Herman, Dorothy Snyder of Fremont and Ruth Kegler of Colorado Springs; five grandsons, Tom and John Kegler and Fred, Richard and Harry Snyder; three grand-daughters, Virginia Kappler, Sandra Kulhanek and Elizabeth Kegler; six great-grandchildren, Shane and Jennie Kegler, Andrew, Jennifer and Jana Marie Snyder and Rebecca Kulhanek; and one sister, Edna Moore of Nemaha.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fredrick Kegler in August of 1949; five brothers, Ernest, Arnold, Walter, William and Elmer Grossoehme; three sisters, Selma Dahlstrom, Lydia Allgeier and Edith Grossoehme.
