Marian Marlene Keil, 67

Marian Marlene Keil, 67, of Brighton Colo., died Monday, May 29, 2000 at the Brighton Care Center in Brighton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 2, at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont, Colo. Interment will be at the Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.

Marian Marlene Keil was born May 15, 1933 in Blair to Stanley and Alta (Frain) Marsh.

She lived on a farm in the Blair and Herman area until 1953, when she moved to Denver, Colo.

She married George E. Keil in Casper, Wyo, on October 28, 1966.

She worked in janitorial services for Continental Trailways from 1960 to 1969, and for the Adams County School District from 1970 until she retired in 1982.

She lived on an acreage in the Erie area, where she always had riding horses and a show horse. Horses were always a part of her life.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and D’On Keil of Brighton, Colo., a stepson and daughter-in-law, Jim and Diane Keil of Cotopaxi, Colo., two stepsons, Jack Keil of Placitas, N.M. and Steve Keil of Westminster, Colo., two brothers, Marvin Marsh of Arvada, Colo., and Larry Marsh of Blair, a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and George Pelnar, also of Blair; two grandchildren, and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband.

Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont, Colo., is in charge of arrangements.
