Burn Kelly, 75, Died May 19th

Alburn (Burn) Kelly, a resident of the Herman and Tekamah areas for many years, died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, May 19th. He was 75 years old.

He was born December 22, 1890 at Tekamah and spent his entire life engaged in farming in the Herman-Tekamah area.

He is survived by his wife, Hannah, and by five sons and four daughters. The sons are Charles of Denver; George of Omaha; Burn, Jr. of Ft. Calhoun; Staff Sgt. Lewis Kelly of Roswell, N.M.; and Gary D. Kelly of Herman. The daughters are Frances Kelly of Atkinson, Nebr.; Mrs. Virginia Harris of Klamoth Falls, Oregon; Mrs. Vada Graham of Denver; and Mrs. Margie Farrens of Tekamah.

There are 28 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A brother, Bud Kelly, of Tekamah also survives.

Funeral services were held May 21st with burial at Tekamah.
