Earl J. Kelly, 75, Died At Florence

Earl J. Kelly, 75, and long-time farmer in the Nashville and Garryowen district in the southeast part of Washington County, died Sunday in Florence Heights Village for the Aged in North Omaha.

He was born June 18, 1890 and lived his entire life in the Garryowen neighborhood where he was engaged in farming. He was married February 12, 1917 to Rose Dinkens who preceded him in death. The couple became parents of three sons and a daughter.

Sons Earl Jr and Daniel survive their father. A son Fred, and a daughter, Alice Stafford died prior to his death.

Mr. Kelly was a life-long member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Ft. Calhoun. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10 A.M. at St. Francis Borgia Catholic church in Blair with burial in Holy Cross cemetery at Blair.
