Elizabeth Fister Kelly

Mrs. John Kreiser and son, Homer Fister, came up from Kansas City yesterday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Fister Kelly, her first husband’s mother, which was held at the Methodist church in Tekamah. Sam Warrick and Miss Maud Warrick were also in attendance. Mrs. Kelly was 76 years of age the 25th day of September. She wasn’t sick a day, her tired old heart just ceased to beat last Saturday and death came without a struggle. She was married to Daniel Fister in 1852 and he died in 1896. In 1898 she was married to Seth Kelly and he lived but two years. She was living with her son, Cyrus Fister, when death came. She was the mother of 14 children, 11 of whom are living. Five stepsons and a grandson were the pallbearers.
