EDWARD MENCKE DIED FRIDAY. SERVICES MONDAY

Funeral services were held today (Monday) for Edward Mencke, 62 years of age, who died on Friday.

The services were held at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Orum at 2 o’clock, the Rev. Laursen officiating, with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Mencke, a Washington County farmer, was born Sept. 2, 1901 in Washington County.

Mr. Mencke is survived by his wife, Ella; brothers, Rudolph, Hans, Jack and Otto Mencke of Blair; George Mencke of Arlington; and a sister, Mrs. Augusta Ryan of Blair.

Pallbearers Herb Nelson, Perk Bohs, Linton Puffer, Mike Nielsen, Roy Rahlfs and Bernard Wulf.

Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
