ELLA MENCKE

Services for Ella Mencke, 87, who died Sunday, March 9, 1986, at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair, will be Wednesday, March 12, 10:30 a.m., at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. The Rev. Carl Schattauer and the Rev. Thorvald Hansen will officiate and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Mencke was born August 11, 1898, the daughter of Mads and Johanna Madsen of Blair.

She married Edward Mencke on February 24, 1926.

Survivors include three brothers, Elmer, Harry and Nels, all of Blair; one sister, Mrs. Esther Korshoj of Herman; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and six brothers.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Madsen, Frank Korshoj, Albert Madsen, Jr., Raymond Korshoj, Earl Korshoj and Darrell Madsen.

Organist will be Clare Cowing and vocalist will be Keith Hightree.

Campbell Funeral Home of Blair is in charge of arrangements.
