RALPH MENCKE IS BURIED ON MONDAY

Funeral services were held Monday, January 10, at First United Methodist Church for Ralph W. Mencke, 81, who died at his home in Blair January 5, 1983.

The Rev. Gordon Patterson conducted the services. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

Ralph W. Mencke was born August 27, 1901 in Blair to Henry and Eliza McCoy Mencke. He married Dorothy Parish on March 28, 1926.

He spent several years in the real estate business and in farming and was also associated with the Soil Conservation Service. He retired from farming in 1975.

He is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Fleming of Blair. Two grandsons, Kevin and Gordon, both of Blair, also survive him.

Pallbearers were Willie Arp, Wayne Lambertz, Harold Rabbass, Ed Skar, Etlar Olsen and Tim Tripp. Dr. Donald Ehlers and James C. Thompson were honorary pallbearers.

Katy Flynn was organist.
