MRS. RUDOLPH MENCKE DIED MON.; RITES WEDNESDAY

A life time resident of Washington County, Mrs. Rudolph Mencke, 82 years of age, 2030 Wright Street, died this (Monday) morning at Memorial Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at two o’clock at First Lutheran Church, the Rev. George Palleson officiating with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Mencke is survived by her husband, Rudolph; daughters, Mrs. Arthur Long of Omaha; Mrs. James T. Bateman of Blair and Mrs. Rod Donahue of Grand Rapids, Michigan; sons, Raymond of Medford, Oregon and James of Blair; sisters, Mrs. Clarence Jensen of Fremont and Mrs. Mike Larsen of Omaha; brothers, Van Ryan of Norfolk and William Ryan of Omaha and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Ryan, the former Mellie Ryan, was born November 16, 1880. Mr. and Mrs. Mencke were married March 26, 1908.
