The funeral for Marlene F. Kennebeck, 63, of Fremont, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.

She died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Fremont Area Medical Center.

She was born July 13, 1946, to Edward and Hazel (Sheets) Richman. She grew up in Blair and Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School in 1964. In the late 1960s she moved to Fremont. She had worked as a dietitian technician at Fremont Care Center and Bergan Mercy.

She married James Kennebeck on March 24, 1973, in Fremont.

Survivors include: her husband; a son, Brian (and wife, Rachel) of Fremont; a daughter, Dawn of Fremont; and three grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Duane Richman.

The Rev. Scott Jensen, Fremont Area Medical Center chaplain, will officiate Tuesday’s service. Visitation will be from 3–8 p.m. on Monday with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes and American Heart Associations.
