Rev. D. D. Kennedy Died At Sumner

The Rev. Donald D. Kennedy, 68, died suddenly Sunday evening, Sept. 16th, at Sumner, Nebraska, where he has served as pastor of the Baptist Church since leaving Blair 12 years ago. He also was the minister of the Fairhaven Church in the rural area near Sumner and had filled the pulpit at both churches on the day of his death.

Rev. Kennedy was pastor of the Blair Baptist Church from 1943 until 1950.

He is survived by he wife, and a son, Earl, of Broken Bow, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held at Sumner, Nebraska on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 19th.
