CHET MENKING SERVICES THURS

Services for Chester (Chet) A. Menking will be Thursday afternoon at the Arlington Methodist Church.

Mr. Menking passed away at the Dodge County Hospital on Tuesday morning, October 8th. Mr. Menking was 79 at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife Lulu; one daughter; a brother and four sisters. The daughter is Mrs. Robert Wilkins of Arlington. The surviving brother is Rupert Menking of Los Angeles.

The four surviving sisters are Mrs. Ella Pfeiffer, Mrs. Laurence Hall and Mrs. Ray Keeler, all of Arlington; and Mrs. Lena Timberly of Norfolk. There are also three surviving grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10th, at the First Methodist Church in Arlington. Rev. Leo Zillig will officiate with interment at the Arlington Cemetery. Reckmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation at the Reckmeyer Funeral Chapel will be from three to five p.m. and seven to nine p.m. on Wednesday. Thursday the visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The casket will not be opened at the church.
