KEITH MENKING, FORMER BLAIRITE, DIED SATURDAY

Keith Menking, 53 years of age, 3024 Young Street, Omaha, a former Blair resident, died Saturday at his home in Omaha.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Blair Methodist Church, the Rev. Dale Westadt officiating with interment in Kennard Cemetery.

Mr. Menking was born Oct. 7, 1909 at Kennard, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Menking. He was married Oct. 8, 1929. Mr. Menking was a mechanic. His wife, Lorraine, operated the Topper Café for a time while they lived in Blair.

Mr. Menking is survived by his wife, Lorraine; two sons, Rev. Stanley Menking of Cranbury, New Jersey; and George Menking of Ralston; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Edwards of Blair and Mrs. Arthur Andreasen of Lyons.

Pallbearers will be Harvey Simpson, James Paulsen, Orval Andreasen, Robert Brothers, Howard Eriksen and Charles Christy.

Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
