MARVIN R. MENTZER, 57
Marvin R. Mentzer, 57, of Omaha, died Monday, May 10, 1999 in Omaha.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 14, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun. The Rev. James Schwertley will officiate.
Burial will be at Rudd, Iowa. Visitation is 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. The Rosary Service is at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 13 at St. John’s Church.
Marvin Mentzer was born Nov. 21, 1941 at Early, Iowa. He was married Oct. 28, 1976 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
He was a design engineer at Omaha Public Power District.
He was a member of St. John’s Church.
He is survived by his wife, Diane, of Omaha; his daughter, Shelly of Omaha; and his sister, Marlene, of Robin, Ia.
Pallbearers will be Rick Beck, Gary Moucka, Mike Kitun, Kelly Noss, Alan LaCoste and Bill Hallett.
