#2-2 Dec., 1903 - Blair Courier - Elizabeth Meservey Miss Elizabeth Meservey died last Saturday morning at the residence of her sister, Mrs. H. E. Meservey, from the injuries sustained by a fall the night previous. She was almost 68 years of age, but was in fairly good health and but for the accident might have lived a number of years yet. She was born in Appleton, Me. and since coming to Nebraska about twenty years ago has lived with a niece in Fremont and in this city. The funeral was held at the Meservey residence on Sunday, and was conducted by Mrs M. F. Bonney, a spiritualist in belief. Mr. H. E. Meservey, deceased, was a brother and Mrs. C. B. Sprague is now the only surviving member of the family. #3-3 Dec., 1903 - Blair Republican - Lizzie Meservey

The funeral of Miss Lizzie Meservey took place last Saturday forenoon from the residence of Mrs. Lottie Meservey with whom she made her home. Mrs. M. J. Bonney of this city gave a very consoling discourse along the line of spiritualistic belief in which the deceased was a firm believer. To her death meant only a pleasant change - the entrance into a more perfect state of existence - she passed painlessly into the eternal rest. Her last days were made more cheerful by the kind offices of thoughtful relatives and friends.
