Gary R. DeWitt, 54, of Omaha, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, in Omaha. Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Country Bible Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Tekamah Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

Gary Richard DeWitt was born June 6, 1956, in Omaha to Richard and Marilyn (Muller) Dewitt. He attended Northwest High School and, in 1975, he entered the United States Marine Corps, serving until 1977. He worked for the Omaha Steel Castings Company.

He is survived by his children Tony, of Minnesota, and Jeremy and Karlie of Omaha; parents, Richard and Marilyn DeWitt of Omaha; brothers, Curtis of North Carolina and Tom of Omaha; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and LeRoy Sinclair of Omaha, Gayle and Pat Thibault of Denver, Colo., and Kim and Steve Welch of New Castle, Okla.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
