ARTHUR J. STABEN, 86
Arthur J. Staben, 86, of Blair, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2000, at the Good Shepherd Home.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8 at Good Shepherd Chapel. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Arthur J. Staben was born Dec. 7, 1913 to Chris and Elizabeth (Schultz) Staben in Fort Calhoun. He was baptized on Sept. 6, 1914 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ponca Hills.
On April 15, 1944, he married Agnes Dey at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
He worked as a welder at Paxton & Vierling Steel Company in Omaha for 29 years, until retiring in 1976.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes, who resides at Good Shepherd Home; a brother, Otto of New Hall, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Church or Good Shepherd Home.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
